Description

When motocross and heavy metal obsessed thirteen-year-old Jacob's increasing delinquent behavior forces CPS to place his little brother, Wes, with his aunt, Jacob and his emotionally absent father, Hollis, must finally take responsibility for their actions and for each other in order to bring Wes home.

Filmmaker Bio(s)

Kat Candler's award winning films have screened at Sundance, SXSW, Los Angeles Film Festival, San Francisco International Film Festival, Slamdance, Florida Film Festival, Houston Museum of Modern Art, Chicago International Children's Film Festival, The National Institutes of Health and on PBS. She premiered her feature film, Hellion starring Aaron Paul and Juliette Lewis, in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Hellion was a Sundance Creative Producing Lab participant and San Francisco Film Society/Kenneth Rainin Foundation Grant recipient. Candler is a film production Lecturer at the University of Texas.
