The Big Flip

A big flip is happening across America. Forty percent of American working wives now out-earn their husbands. Experts predict that women will flip the income gap and out-earn men on average by 2028. In other words, the Big Flip will become the new normal in 15 years. While that's great for gender equality in the work place, it comes at a price on happiness at home. Husbands whose wives make more money are less happy. Women who are primary breadwinners are less happy. Divorce is 40% higher when the wife is the primary breadwinner. We're making The Big Flip to understand what it takes for men and women to thrive, for love and happiness to endure in this brave new world where the wife wins the bread, and the husband mans the home.
